Use
Tools I use on a daily basis:
- Augment Code - Excellent AI code agent, a plugin for most famous IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code.
- Cursor - The AI Code Editor, most popular at the moment, shines when you provide it with clear and detailed instructions. THIS IS NOT A PLUGIN FOR IDE, but a standalone editor.
Evaluate
Tools that look promising and need evaluation:
- Cline - Collaborative AI partner that’s open source. Very popular. It is a plugin for VS Code.
- v0 - Helps in bootstrapping new web projects.
- Replit - Cloud-based IDE, trying to standardize software building process with AI. Has potential.
- Firebase Studio - Google cloud-based IDE integrated with GCP services. Optimized for Web development.
